Officers successfully stopped a lorry in Glasgow's West End after discovering that the driver was disqualified. The driver would have failed to stop if not for the intervention of the police. One person has been arrested.
Officers took over and safely brought a lorry to stop this morning just after 10am in Glasgow 's West End .
The force was aware that the driver was allegedly driving while disqualified, so three police vehicles cornered him on Great Western Road as part of a pre-planned operation.The driver was disqualified and if hadn’t been stopped like this would have failed to stop.
