Charlottetown police seized weapons, drugs and cash during a home search in the city on Dec. 3. ContributedCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 47-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged after police carried out a search warrant, seizing cash, drugs and a firearm at a home in the capital city on Saturday.
Charlottetown Police Services said officers executed the warrant at a house on Sleepy Hollow Road around 1 a.m. During the search, police seized two kilograms of crystal meth, 114 grams of cocaine, 2811 tablets of speed , 1075 dilaudid pills, 889 grams of cannabis, $3,400 in cash, one replica airsoft/bb gun, and other drug paraphernalia.

Contributed - Atlantic Briefs DeskAs a result, the man was charged with three counts of CDSA 5 - possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.The accused remained in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later this week for a show cause hearing.
