Police seek suspects in rash of armed robberies on West Side

Chicago police are investigating a series of armed robberies that happened just minutes apart on the city's West Side.

Police say the group of young men targeted victims in the Austin and Humboldt Park neighborhoods and took their belongings at gunpoint.• 1200 block of North Karlov on November 8, 2022, at 7:00 a.m.• 1100 block of North Springfield on November 8, 2022, at 7:05 a.m.

Police only had vague descriptions of the robbers but say they got away in a stolen copper-colored Kia.• Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to the police• If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information• Do not touch anything until police arrive.
