German police seek motive in shooting at Jehovah's Witnesses church
HAMBURG - German police were searching for a motive on Friday after a gunman, believed to have been acting alone,The police declined to say how many people had been killed in Thursday night’s attack. But they said the gunman was believed to be among the dead.Several of the wounded were seriously hurt, the Jehovah’s Witnesses said.
A spokesperson for the Hamburg police could not confirm the details, referring to an upcoming press conference planned for 1100 GMT . Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said on Twitter that the authorities were working urgently to investigate the crime.
