A 20-year-old Durban woman was allegedly savagely beaten for hours before police stormed in to rescue her on Tuesday

I feel like this is not our reality but I want justice for my daughter and we will not rest until she gets it.” “It is alleged that on June 2 at 8am, a 20-year-old woman was assaulted by a known suspect at Mariannridge. She was taken to hospital for medical attention. A 37-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He appeared in the Pinetown magistrate’s court yesterday,” she said.Meanwhile the community has planned a march to fight for justice for Maistry. The march is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
