Officers want members of the public to contact them if they see people using such vehicles
Officers have carried out patrols in an area experiencing an increase in off-road bikes and quad bikes. Ilkeston police conducted the patrols in and around Mapperly Brook on January 2 following reports of off-road vehicles being used in the area.
They have asked members of the public to contact them if they see people using such vehicles. In a post on Facebook, Ilkeston police stated: "Patrols completed in and around the Mapperly Brook area due to an increasing amount of off-road bike/quad bike reports in this area. "If you witness this, please contact us via 101 or via an online submission. Let's seize some bikes!"
