'We've heard all the 'pig' jokes before,' said the Cincinnati Police Department after managing to rein in Oinker.
Each time one of the officers got close, the pig would run away. Bystanders also attempted to help. Eventually, police managed to get the lasso around the pig's neck after one of the officers distracted it.
But the officers soon managed to get Oinker in the back of their patrol car, where it was later filmed calmly eating an apple core with the lasso no longer around its neck. It's not the first time recently that police officers have had to respond to an incident involving an awkward animal.to help out a woman who was being terrorized by a possum that was charging at her whenever she left her home, preventing her from reaching her car.
