A police officer and a civilian have opened assault charges against each other following a physical altercation at a North West police station. The incident began as an argument at a barber shop and escalated when the officer allegedly chased the complainant into the police station and assaulted him.

Their physical altercation was captured on a video that has been circulating on social media. In the video, the two men can be seen fighting as other officers and citizens try to separate them.
