Victoira police have released a photo of a suspect in the incident, which took place on Douglas Street on April 20.

Investigators allege the man assaulted an individual shortly after they exited a bus in the 1300-block of Douglas Street, near Johnson Street, about 9:30 a.m. on April 20.

The man was carrying a cane and is described as 55 to 65 years old, six-foot-two with a large build and a grey beard. Police have released a photo of a suspect. Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the assault is asked to call 250-995-7654 ext. 1.
