‘These task teams are a critical step in ensuring the safety of our roads and protecting our citizens,’ SAPS said in a statement. ‘No one should feel threatened while using public transport or driving on our roads.’ SAPS has urged citizens to lodge official complaints with police to help document and address the scope of the issue.
