People in the area have been warned to be vigilant
Merseyside Police's Wirral branch took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to warn people living in Seacombe, Egremont, Wallasey Village and New Brighton. The warning came after officers noticed a recent increase in thefts from cars, vans and motorbikes.
The force are encouraging people to make sure valuables are kept safe and out of sight and to make sure vehicles are secure.
