Police believe the assaults are connected
Police are appealing to the public to help trace a man who they believe can assist with enquiries after two women were assaulted in Oldham this morning.
Officers at Greater Manchester Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after the incidents at Freehold Tram Stop and Morrisons in Hollinwood on Monday February 20. They believe the assaults are connected. No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing. The image shows a black male wearing a long puffer coat and purple top. Police are asking anyone who may be able to identify him to contact them.In a statement, GMP said: "Greater Manchester Police are investigating two assaults reported to have taken place this morning at the Freehold Tram Stop and Morrisons area of Hollinwood in Oldham respectively. These assaults are believed to be connected and involved two females.
"You can do so by calling 0161 856 8891 or 0161 856 8999 quoting incident number 891 of 20.02.2023. Alternatively you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
