RCMP is investigating two fatal weekend motorcycle crashes in the province. - FileDEER LAKE, N.L. — Two men are dead following two separate motorcycle crashes in the province on Friday and Saturday.
Police responded to the first reported crash on Friday around 1:30 p.m. on the Trans-Canada Highway near Little Rapids. The driver, a 53-year-old Pasadena man, was found dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet which came off during the crash, RCMP said. Then, on Saturday, Mary’s Harbour RCMP received a report just after 7 p.m. of a motorcycle crash on Route 510, about three kilometres north of Mary’s Harbour.
