BREAKING: Dallas police are working to learn more about a possible shooting involving a boy and girl in Oak Cliff this afternoon.
First responders said that they first got a call at about 2:15 p.m. from the Southern Oaks Apartments near E. Overton Road. So far, police have not said what exactly happened, but residents told reporters that they had heard gunshots from what sounded like just steps away from where they were.
Some said that they believe a girl may have fatally shot a young boy, whose mother was said to have been covered in blood. One witness reported that his girlfriend had performed CPR on the boy before going to police headquarters to file a report.
