SINGAPORE — Police are investigating 12 people aged between 51 and 76 over their suspected involvement in illegal gambling activities in Yishun.
The illegal activities were discovered during an enforcement operation conducted by the Woodlands Police Division at Yishun Street 61 on Tuesday , the police said on Thursday.
Seven men and a woman aged between 51 and 64 were also arrested for allegedly gambling through an unlicensed gambling service provider or at an unlawful gambling place. Three mobile phones, gaming paraphernalia and about S$10,700 in cash were seized during the operations.
