Victim suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Grace Street on the evening of Sept. 30.
Officers responded to the area of Elgin and Grace Streets at approximately 8 p.m. and found a person with a gunshot wound, a news release says. The victim suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Detective Sergeant Alison Campbell at 705-949-6300 ext. 288.
