Port Elizabeth police are urgently seeking help to find Siyabonga Dlanga, 19, who is linked to several serious and violent crimes across the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.
The plea for help was made on Wednesday after several failed attempts locate Dlanga, who was described as dangerous.
“When Stuurman attempted to stand up, he was fatally shot. A case of murder and aggravated robbery is under investigation,” said police spokesperson Col Priscilla Naidu. Naidu confirmed that Dlanga was released from custody but said police did not know why. She said the reasons for this lay with the National Prosecuting Authority .
