A former German citizen is expected to appear in the Mamelsbury Magistrate’s Court on Monday after police discovered 44 types of firearms and ammunition at a warehouse during an operation.

The operation started on Thursday evening and investigators spent two days scouring the scene, said Cele.spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa the naturalised German descendent was charged with possession of unlicensed firearms, and ammunition.11 firearm parts, considered firearms in terms of the Firearms Control ActNumerous boxes used for storage of firearm magazines
