A police pursuit of a driver in a stolen car ended Saturday night with the suspect crashing into an Uber Eats driver and then splitting a telephone pole in half. The chase started around 11:15 p.m. Saturday when officers came across the stolen GMC car on the northeast side of the city. The driver refused to stop, fleeing on Interstate 10 to Waco, and then south to Milby. The suspect ran into the Uber Eats car, followed by a telephone pole, which was split in half.The Uber Eats driver suffered minor injuries, according to the Houston Police Department.
