Toronto police are asking for help identifying a suspect after a couple of unprovoked, random attacks in downtown Toronto.
Police were called about a stabbing around 7:30 a.m. Friday near Dundas Street East and Victoria Street. They say the victim was standing outside when the suspect came up behind them and slashed them in the face with an edged weapon.The second incident happened near Yonge Street and Adelaide Street around 5:45 a.m. Sunday.
This time, the victim was sleeping outside when the suspect slashed them in the face with an edged weapon.The suspect is described as a male between 20 to 30-years-old. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black headphones, a black winter jacket, black pants and tanned construction boots. Police believe the same suspect is responsible for both attacks.
