UPDATE: Police arrested a suspect they believe is linked to three stabbings and a carjacking in the South Bay.

The first crime was reported at 3:11 p.m. at Kooser Road and Dellwood Way in San Jose where a person was found stabbed, police said.

Officers also responded to the 1800 block of Hillsdale Avenue for another stabbing and carjacking. The suspect stabbed a victim and carjacked their vehicle, police said.Get a weekly recap of the latest San Francisco Bay Area housing news.In both of these stabbings, the victims were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The pedestrian who was struck has non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Another stabbing was reported at a Smart and Final in Milpitas, police said. That's where the suspect was arrested by Milpitas police.5/ We believe the suspect is linked to other violent incidents that occured today in the city of San José.
