Free State police arrested a man, 28, who was caught in possession of 97 identity documents and more than 100 bank cards.
"Upon searching his room, police found 42 smart card IDs, 55 Republic of South Africa-issued ID books, 105 bank cards from different RSA banking institutions, one Lesotho passport and a birth certificate in his possession," police spokesperson Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli said.He was arrested for unlawfully being in possession of the IDs and for contravening the Immigration Act.
