Police believe he may be able to help their investigation
Police have launched an investigation after jewellery worth thousands of pounds was stolen in Walton-le-Dale.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary are looking into a burglary and an attempted burglary. They say items worth thousands of pounds was stolen in a break-in which happened in "broad daylight". Police want to speak to John Johnson in connection with the incidents. They believe he may be able to help with their inquiries.In a Facebook post, Blackpool Police said: "Johnson, 50, is wanted for a residential burglary and an attempt residential burglary at addresses in the Walton-le-Dale area where thousands of pounds worth of jewellery were stolen during broad daylight hours.
"Johnson has links to Blackpool and is known to frequent Preston city centre. He also has links to Blackburn, but his current address is unknown. If you can help us call 101 or 999 for immediate sightings, or alternatively email [email protected]"
