Just 27 per cent believe Trudeau has good judgment, compared with 45 per cent for Poilievre.
The pair scored about the same when asked whether they represent Canadian values well: 43 per cent agreed that Trudeau does and 44 per cent agreed Poilievre does. It was a similar story when respondents were asked whether each leader genuinely cares about making the country better: Trudeau received 48 per support, and Poilievre captured 50.
And when asked whether Trudeau and Poilievre understand what “life is like for people like you,” only 30 per cent think the PM does, while 40 per cent think the Conservative leader does.Article content “Many people have not yet paid much attention to their political choices, but among those who have formed an opinion, Poilievre maintains a considerably stronger image than Trudeau. He surpasses the sitting prime minister in terms of judgment and competence among those who have an opinion and holds a slight lead among all Canadians, including those unfamiliar with Poilievre.
