PnB Rock talked about being a target shortly before he was killed

'I never got robbed, ever in my life,' PnB Rock said in an interview days before his killing. 'I ain't gonna say 'never.' I'm not superstitious, but I haven't been robbed.'

Rapper PnB Rock, a well-known hip-hop artist from Philadelphia, was fatally shot Monday afternoon during a robbery at a Los Angeles eatery, police sources told ABC News.

In an interview with YouTuber DJ Akademiks about a week before he was shot and killed during a robbery while at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles on Monday, PnB Rock said criminals in city were "bold" and shared a story about when he, his girlfriend and his child were being followed. PnB Rock added that he didn't go places like nightclubs, where he might fall prey to those living the "gangster" lifestyle.
