Easter Sunday is probably the pick of the two days. Saturday isn’t too bad, either.
Cherry blossoms litter the ground at the Tidal Basin on Friday morning, but the trees also still had quite a bunch. Most of the local area reached the low and mid-60s today as sunshine graced the region. D.C. ended up a couple degrees above normal this afternoon, which is something of a rarity of late. It’ll be even warmer this weekend. Any raindrops should cause little disruption.
Clouds are few this evening. It’s the same story overnight. Grab some layers if out late, given the seasonable chill. Lows range from the mid-30s to near 40. Winds die off a good deal with sunset, then wane further through the night.Sunshine is most abundant early morning, with skies tending to become cloudier through the day. We could see a passing shower by early afternoon, but anything heavier — and likely still scattered — holds off until evening. Mid-60s should do it for highs.
