Plans have been submitted for new-build housing on an 'overgrown' plot of land

Wellwood Leslie Architects have revealed proposals for four semi-detached homes on a vacant site in Maxwell Place.for planning permission in principle for the four-bedroom properties.

They added there were no “significant” trees within the development boundary and new planting would be planned using local species, which are “selectively placed” to provide privacy and complement the immediate and wider area. “The scale is proportionate to the plot area as well as neighbouring properties and its location is intended to be complementary to the streetscape.

“The house is designed to be timeless in design with tasteful detailing to accentuate the primary entrance and main living spaces.
