The council says the plans for up to 250 homes will be submitted later this year.
Telford and Wrekin Council shared proposals for a development of up to 250 homes on greenfield land to the west of Lawley during a recent two-week public consultation.
A cycling and pedestrian route would be created on part of the northern section of Arleston Lane and the existing woodland would be retained as part of a planned green corridor.
