A new shopping parade with a coffee shop and takeaway has been planned as part of a massive Nottinghamshire housing development. The Berry Hill housing development in Mansfield, off the A617, will comprise 1,700 homes when finished, as well as a primary school, shopping area and children's play areas.
The parade would be located close to the entrance to Berry Hill's local centre, next to the development's main road. The convenience store is expected to be open from 6am to 11pm, seven days a week and the takeaway would operate from mid-afternoon until 11pm.Other shops will open in accordance with operators’ requirements, according to planning documents.
A hard-surfaced courtyard will be provided in front of the coffee shop to allow for chairs and tables during warm weather. The shared parking area for the retail and coffee-shop units would have 71 spaces including six placed disabled spaces and space for secure cycle parking.
