A petition calling on the FA and Nike to sell the shirt has been signed by 56,000 people
The FA say they have a plan in place to resolve the ongoing row about the decision to not sell replicas of Mary Earps' goalkeeping shirt. The West Bridgford star has been in sparkling form for the Lionesses between the sticks and is also a popular player thanks to her TikToks but fans cannot buy her jersey in shops.
The outfield kit has gone on general sale but the goalkeeping shirt remains impossible to buy, leading to a petition that's now been signed by 56,000 people and counting. Emmy Somauroo, 16, who set up the petition, said: "We need to unite, and demand this decision is overturned. We need to show togetherness and support Mary and ask Nike to rethink their decision.
"Let’s make them see just how important our female goalkeepers are. How respected they are and how many young girls aspire to join them in the future."
