Pixies have scrapped the remaining dates on their tour due to 'public health concerns.'
“This was an extremely difficult decision, but the well-being of our fans is always our top priority. Rescheduled dates for all of these shows will be announced soon. We ask that our fans retain their tickets as they will be honored on the new dates. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to returning to Australia.”
According to LN, plans are to reschedule those dates for later this year. Sources say the band is already on a flight heading home to the U.S. Australia has hit the headlines in recent hours and days, as a handful of celebrities and live music events get caught up in the global pandemic.
