And since I pay for my phones out of my own pocket, it isn't always feasible to upgrade.announced that the Pixel 7 Pro would include a battery-saving feature that would allow users to drop the 1440p QHD+ resolution to a 1080p FHD+ resolution, I wanted that feature for my Pixel 6 Pro. That, and Face Unlock were the Pixel 7 Pro features I coveted for my own phone.
Keep in mind that while those with the Pixel 4a through the Pixel 7 series can subscribe to the QPR2 Beta program, not all of the features in this story will be available for all of the Pixel phones eligible to join the Beta program.To install the Beta,or go to google.com/android/beta. Then, tap on the button that says"View your eligible devices." You'll then see a picture of your Pixel with the words Opt in on the bottom. Press the button and follow the directions.
