Manchester United’s crucial Champions League tie with Copenhagen received an early disruption from a pitch invader with a pro-Palestine flag.
The English side had just taken a 1-0 lead away from home in Denmark through Rasmus Hojlund in the third minute.Soon after in the ninth, the referee was forced to stop the match as a fan ran on the pitch. Cameras cut away, but images showed the fan was carrying a Palestine flag, which had ‘free Palestine’ written on it.There was another stoppage in play in the 16th minute due to a medical emergency in the stands.
