Orlando Pirates could be set to unveil their new signing against red-hot Mamelodi Sundowns in their eagerly awaited DStv Premiership clash.
The Buccaneers have seen some improvement in their performances and results in recent matches, with the team having won their last three fixtures consecutively, against Golden Arrows, Stellenbosch FC and Marumo Gallants respectively.Having recently added a new signing in Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou, Bucs are expected to give the highly rated player his debut possibly against Downs, with indications that the technical team has been impressed with the player’s work-rate.
“He is a good player and his work rate is wonderful. He is adjusting well and should be ready in no time for his first match,” said the source. Pirates lost 2-0 to Sundowns in the previous match between the two teams which was played on the last day of 2022 and the club’s head coach Jose Riveiro and the team will hope for improvement when the two sides play again on Saturday.
