JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - APRIL 22: Souaibou Marou of Orlando Pirates in action with Marc va Heerden of Cape Town City FC during the DStv Premiership match between Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City FC at Orlando Stadium on April 22, 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
"The initial idea was to keep him and see what he can do during the off season, pre-season training and camp," said the Siya source. "But the chances are that if no loan deal is coming through then they could just as well release him," said the source. "The stumbling block could have been the remaining two years or one and a half years on his contract. So it's either they buy him out and agree on a mutual termination of the contract or they loan him out until his contract runs out.
