SYDNEY, N.S. — A new location has been selected for 30 pallet shelter units set to be built in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
The park’s original build site of Railroad Street site in Whitney Pier was met with community opposition.“In discussions with the province and the CBRM, we have identified a way for the Pallet Village to proceed at Pine Tree Park taking municipal zoning bylaws into account, initially thought to be a barrier, but since successfully accommodated at other Nova Scotia Pallet Villages sites,” reads a notice from. New Dawn Enterprises.
It is a location that is both private and part of a vibrant community, according to a New Dawn social post.
