Any deal is reported to be worth a multi-million-point sum, with United keen to generate more streams of revenue amid the Premier League’s crackdown on profitability and sustainability rules . Bringing more money into the club could increase the transfer kitty available to Erik ten Hag, or whoever is in charge in the summer in order to improve the squad in the summer window.
Disney +, the company’s streaming service have had success with their ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ series, which tracks the League Two club’s journey since a takeover by Holywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. There are however no talks between Disney and the club for a similar insight into the current going on at the club, similar to those that have been done for Tottenham, Sunderland and Manchester City for their ‘All or Nothing documentaries.
