Piers Morgan has questioned how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's private message to Kate Middleton in the wake of her cancer diagnosis was made public.
Piers Morgan has suggested that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's team leaked claims the couple have reached out privately to Prince William and Kate Middleton following Kate's unexpected cancer announcement.
"In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous," Kate said in the video released on Friday night. "The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment," she said.
On Sunday night, American magazine People reported their understanding "that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have privately reached out to the Prince and Princess of Wales amid Kate's cancer diagnosis." Piers, 58, quote-tweeted People's original post and added: "If it was done 'privately' then how do you know?" The broadcaster added an emoji of a face with a monocle.
