The controversial presenter quit the ITV morning show back in March 2021
Piers Morgan's high-profile exit from Good Morning Britain was dramatic and made headlines for days. However, he has now opened up about the outburst and revealed he felt "let down" by former colleague Susanna Reid in the aftermath of the drama.
Later that day, Piers confirmed he had left the show after he refused to apologise for the comments he had made on-air. Now, the ex-GMB presenter has been reported as saying he felt "let down" by his co-stars in light of the support that Gary Lineker received from his Match Of The Day co-hosts.Gary "stepped back" from the show after his tweets relating to the Government's policy on refugees and immigration.
According to a report in the Mirror, Piers felt disappointed he didn't get the same reaction from his GMB co-stars. The 57-year-old tweeted "would have been nice to see the same solidarity" in response to a fan asking him "were you disappointed that none of your colleagues didn't present the day after you left GMB?"
