A pickup ran a red light in the West Shore early Monday, resulting in a two-vehicle crash and traffic delays for morning commuters.The pickup veered into the median barrier under a rail bridge at Old Island Hwy, where the on-ramp to Trans Canada Highway begins.
Lanes heading onto the Old Island Hwy were shut down as road crews cleared the scene from about 6 a.m. to 7:25 a.m. B.C. Transit put detours in place for several routes around the Old Island Highway.The driver of the F-150 was issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention.
