A pickup was destroyed by fire in St. John's early Monday morning but the driver was not injured. Keith Gosse/The TelegramST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Firefighters made quick work of a vehicle fire on the Team Gushue Highway early Monday morning.
The fire broke out in a pickup travelling southbound between Goldstone Street and Kenmount Road and the male driver was able to pull the truck over to the side of the road before the blaze got completely out of control.The fire was under control and extinguished in minutes but not before the truck was destroyed.A pickup was destroyed by fire in St. John's early Monday morning but the driver was not injured.
