Smoke was spotted by shoppers at Silverburn
Emergency services rushed to a Glasgow city centre street as a blaze took hold of a large rubbish pile.
Plumes of smoke billowed into the air from Havannah Street as fire crews battled the inferno as it engulfed the trash.The flames were quickly put out and fire crews left the scene at around 6.35pm.
