The suspect was arrested after shooting a 22-year-old woman three times and a 66-year-old man once, police said.
A man wanted for a double shooting in North Philadelphia who then barricaded himself inside a home on Saturday night is now in custody.Authorities say the man opened fire around 9:30 p.m., shooting a 22-year-old woman three times and a 66-year-old man once.
Both victims are in critical condition after they were taken to Temple University Hospital, police said. Not long after, officers said the suspect ran into a home on the 2800 block of North 22nd Street while being followed by police. The man barricaded himself before 10 p.m. and after the three-hour standoff surrendered to police. It was not clear if the suspect had any connection to the home, the story said.More:
