Hammond began crying after watching a short segment from Mr Schofield's interview and shared her thoughts on the matter, saying she 'loved Phillip Schofield'. Dermot O'Leary echoed Hammond's sentiments.

"Regardless of what you think, that can't have been easy at all for Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary," one user wrote.After resigning from ITV last week, the 61-year-old, was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an"unwise but not illegal" affair with the man.
