The team from Media, Delaware County, was playing Rhode Island in the Little League World Series on Sunday afternoon when members of the Philadelphia Phillies arrived at Lamade Stadium, bringing the fervor to a crescendo.and getting eliminated from the world series. Meanwhile, the Phillies still have a game to play, meeting the Washington Nationals in the sixth annual Little League Classic. The game will be played at 2,300-seat Bowman Field, which is the home of the Williamsport Crosscutters of the collegiate MLB Draft League. The ballpark, which opened in 1926, was renovated before the inaugural MLB Little League Classic in 2017 to meet MLB standards.
