Rangers beat Hibs 4-0 to record their first win under Philippe Clement on his debut at Ibrox.
Philippe Clement will be delighted at how his first Rangers game panned out in the 4-0 win over Hibs - claiming that the Gers are 'building a house' as they look to bring home a Scottish Premiership title.
He alluded before the game that it wouldn't be the final product, with the loose terms of 'I'm not a magician' and 'I'm not Harry Potter' being bandied about with little substance as a quartet of goals flew in in Govan. But Clement chose to remain grounded despite the win, saying that it's step-by-step and that fans should not get carried away.
Clement told BBC Sportsound: "You see that although it was only two days, the players want to do the things that we showed them. "I'm most happy that I saw synergy between players and the fans from the first minute. That is one of the biggest strengths of this club, one that we need to have to win trophies. The best teams in the world make mistakes - what is important is your reaction, and our reaction was good.
