Philadelphia police have identified the officers who were shot during an ambush shootout last week at the 7500 block of Whitaker Avenue.
Philadelphia police have released new information in last week's police shootout that left a suspect dead and three officers wounded.
During the shootout, police say an unidentified sergeant, who did not discharge his weapon, was shot once in his left hand. According to police, there were two other individuals at the home at the time of the incident, a juvenile male and an adult female. Police say the boy called 911 and reported that his father had shot his uncle. The boy and a woman who police say was also inside the house were not injured.
