Phil Davis likes to play personal things close to the vest, so when he was asked about how he has spent the past year he didn’t give too much away.
It will Davis’ first action since a unanimous decision win over Julius Anglickas at Bellator 276 last March.Again, he didn’t say much. What he did say made it sound not entirely fun but also necessary. Hard to argue with that considering the guys Davis has been fighting and the record he has put together. He will enter the fight against Anderson on a two-fight win streak and with a record of 24-6 for his career. Dive deeper into the resume and it quickly becomes clear that Davis is still one of the best fighters on the planet.
And now he gets Anderson , himself a former UFC contender. And Anderson is tough. He beat Bader, in fact, via TKO at Bellator 268 and has a win over Glover Teixiera, too.
