The Energy Department says both grades of petrol will increase by 1 cent a litre.
Despite stronger oil prices and a weaker rand exchange rate in August, international prices of all refined petroleum products decreased. Also factored in is a 5 cents a litre increase in the retail margin of petrol, to accommodate pay increases for petrol station staff.
