The 58-year-old was seen leaving his Uddingston home on Thursday morning two weeks after he was questioned by cops amid a probe into the SNP's finances.
Cops searched a number of properties including Murrell's home and the SNP headquarters in Edinburgh.Police Scotland has been investigating the spending of money which was earmarked for Scottish independence campaigning.The 71-year-old subsequently announced that he was stepping down from his role.
